CASE IH $1,000 VISA GIFT CARDS START ROLLING OUT

Some farmers around the country are finding themselves $1,000 better off thanks to a Case IH promotion which provides a $1,000 Visa gift card with the purchase of selected new tractors before September 30.
South Australia's Max Venning was the first person in Australia to take advantage of the $1,000 bonus following the purchase of a Case IH Puma 180.
Max, who runs a 2,300 hectare mixed cropping operation at Bute, purchased the new Puma 180, primarily for fertiliser spreading."I've used Case IH tractors in the past, but not for some time. So when we looked at the new Puma and noticed how easy it was to access everything from the radiator to the daily service points, we were pretty much sold. It was also comfortable to drive and operator friendly, with the controls placed in just the right position.
"The $1000 Visa gift card promotion is a bonus and I'm thinking of taking my wife, Therese, on a weekend away to my sister's new farm near Esperance in Western Australia."
Max is in good company with his plans to take a break. As part of the promotion Case IH polled farmers to see what they would spend $1000 on. Close to 39 per cent of farmers surveyed said they would take a holiday or a short break.
"Many farmers told us that they'd like to get away and just enjoy a bit of a break with their families. A lot of them said that they don't often get a holiday but if they were given a thousand dollars to spend however they wanted, a few days away would be very welcome," said Case IH Brand Manager for tractors, John Dreves. Of those who would opt for a holiday, more than half said they'd like to go somewhere within Australia. "That's good news for local communities," John added.
While a holiday was the most popular response, the polled farmers had lots of other ideas about what they might spend an unexpected $1,000 on with farm supplies and something for the house rating high on the list of responses. "Close to 23 per cent of farmers polled indicated they'd spend $1000 on something for the home or the farm, which again is good news for local communities," John added. "We think our famers deserve to choose a reward for themselves and their families, and that's why we decided to offer a $1,000 Visa gift card with selected new Case IH tractors."
With the offer only available until September 30, farmers are urged to act fast. "In addition to qualifying for the $1,000 Visa gift card, farmers who buy a Case IH tractor before the deadline may also be eligible for the Federal Government's 50% Small Business Tax Break, so now really is a great time to buy," John said."
